We have a long list of techniques used by our different practitioners: ART (active release technique) and Trigenics are two of the most effective soft tissue treaments available. ART addresses the myofascial restrictions while Trigenics changes or “resets” the way the brain communicates with the muscle, to either strengthen or lengthen it or both. Trigenics paves the way for all the other deep tissue techniques.

Physiotherapy
Microcurrent. Frequency specific microcurrent introduces the frequency of healthy tissue back into the tissues. Each tissue type has its own individual “tone” or “frequency” and this marvelous machine moves from one tone to the other to speed up the healing. It changes from the frequency of muscle to ligament, to tendon, to arteries, etc until it has gone through the range of possible injured tissues. This is one of the best treatments for new injuries and if we can get this onto a person within 48 hours of an auto accident, it reduces the healing time dramatically.
Class IV Laser.We were looking for a way to help one of our doctors avoid a multiple level neck fusion. Because of an auto accident, the cervical spine had become unstable, causing spinal cord stenosis. We already knew the benefits of laser because we had used cold laser for years. We needed something that could go deeper, and chose the Avicenna, a healing light laser that is 24 times stronger than any of the cold lasers on the market. Because of its 12 wattage ability, it can go as deep as 9 inches into the soft tissue of the body. This is excellent for treatment of conditions such as thoracic disk herniation because it stimulates healing where it is unsafe to perform surgery. We have had very positive results with knees, even after surgery, necks, bursitis, lumbar disk herniation, and wound healing.
Russian and Interferential Electrical Stimulation.This is a popular and common treatment for muscle pain, spasm, and weakness in almost any part of the body. It comprises of using pads administered to effected areas of the body and using a very low current that stimulates contraction or relaxation of the muscles.
Ultrasound This time respected treatment for soft tissue injuries uses high frequency sound waves to produce a mechanical vibration. When the head of the ultrasound devise is placed on the skin it sends these sound waves into the injured tissue, creating a deep heat. It is know to increase healing, reduce pain, reduce scarring, especially helpful for the deep scarring following surgery.
